The New Bedford Housing Authority invites Contractors to submit Bids for NBHA-004-2024 – Walkway & Driveway Improvement at Chaffee – Fairfield St. located at 954 Chaffee Street in New Bedford, MA 02745.  The Project consists of full reconstruction of the walkways & driveways.  The construction cost is estimated to be $230,000.00.  General Bids due: 5/10/2024, 12:00 PM & publicly opened online, forthwith.  Bid Forms & Contract Documents shall be available online at www.Projectdog.com, Proiect Code 861742.  This project is being electronically bid and hard copy bids will not be accepted.  All Bids should be submitted online at www.Proiectdog.com  All bids must conform with provisions of Mass. The meeting will begin at 954 Chaffee St. New Bedford, MA 02745.  Contractor questions due: 5/6/2024 12:00pm submitted to peter.cruz@cabengineeringsolutions.com  Each bid shall be accompanied by a 5% bid deposit.  Bids are subject to minimum wage rates established for the project by the Federal Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) subject to the provisions of 29 CFR 5.5 as amended by the U.S. Department of Labor & as required by M.G.L. c. 149 § 26 to 27H inclusive. Minimum rates of pay have been established for the project by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with Public Law 403 & the Seventy-fourth Congress approved August 10, 1935 as amended. Additionally, the project is subject to Title VI of the Civil rights Act of 1964 & Section 3 of the Housing & Urban Development Act of 1968.
