The New Bedford Housing Authority (Authority), the awarding authority, invites sealed bids for the supply and delivery Electronic Key Boxes including, but not limited to, key cabinets, proximity cards, card readers.
The New Bedford Housing Authority will award contracts to the responsive and responsible bidders offering firm fixed prices for the desired quality items at the best prices. The successful bidder will be required to deliver these items for a term of one (1) year on an as needed basis.

Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., Thursday June 6, 2024 at which time and place bids will be opened forthwith in the presence of a witness, recorded, and the results distributed to all bidders by e-mail soon thereafter.

All Bids should be sent to: the New Bedford Housing Authority Procurement Office, 128 Union Street – 4TH Floor, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02740 and must be received no later than the date & time specified above.
Bid Documents will be available from the New Bedford Housing Authority Procurement Office, 128 Union Street – 4TH Floor, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02740 between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30, Monday thru Friday excluding holidays beginning on May 22, 2024. Bidders may obtain Bid Documents by sending a request and their contact information to: kevin.rego@nbha-ma.org.

Each bid must be accompanied by: a signed Form For Bids, a signed Certification of Non-Collusion, a signed Revenue Enforcement and Protection (REAP) Certification, and a signed U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) FORM 5369-C Certifications and Representations of Offerors – Non-Construction.

All bids for this supply are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c.30B §5. Bids are also subject U.S. Dept. of H.U.D. 7460.8 REV2 and 2 CFR Part 200 §§ 200.317-200.326 each where applicable. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days upon opening of bids without the consent of the New Bedford Housing Authority. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority will reject any and all bids when required to do so by the above referenced General Laws.

In accordance with Section 3 of the HUD act of 1968, as amended, opportunity for employment and contracting to the greatest extent feasible shall be given to Section 3 eligible residents and businesses.
