The New Bedford Housing Authority invites sealed bids from Contractors for DHCD#205310 Sewer Line Replacement at the 689s in New Bedford, MA.  The Project consists of removing & replacing existing kitchen drains by re-routing the new kitchen drains to outside the buildings & connecting to existing exterior buildings drains and/or sewers. Work will include interior & exterior sanitary drain piping, grease traps, miscellaneous architectural work (flooring, walls) concrete slab removal & replacement, excavation, backfill, landscaping, shrubs, & asphalt in accordance with the contract documents.  This project is being electronically bid & hard copy bids will not be accepted.  Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to register as an electronic bidder.  Bid Forms & Contract Documents will be available at or at Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA  01749 on or after 6/1/2022.  The bids are to be prepared & submitted at  Tutorials & instructions on how to complete the electronic bid documents are also available online.  General Bids due: 6/30/2022, until 2:00 pm., & publicly opened online, forthwith.  Sub bid deadline in the category of Plumbing: 6/16/2022, until 2:00 pm.  A Pre-bid conference shall be held on 6/9/2022, 10:00 am.  Meeting held at the front of 1068 Mount Pleasant St. in New Bedford, MA. Questions should be directed by email to Contractors Qualification Requirement: DCAMM Certificate.  Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer’s check or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company made payable to the New Bedford Housing Authority in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal.
