Furnace & Water Heater Replacement Phase 2 – Satellite Village

The New Bedford Housing Authority invites Contractors to submit Bids for NBHA #009-2024 Furnace & Water Heater Replacement Phase 2 – Satellite Village located at the Satellite Village Development with multiple addresses located on Hanover St. in New Bedford, MA, in accordance with the documents prepared by MacRitchie Engineering Inc.  The Project consists of but not limited to the replacement of wall hung tankless water heaters & gas-fired furnaces inside occupied apartments. Includes venting of appliances, asbestos abatement & wiring CO detectors.  Cost estimated: $709,100.00.  Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.  General bidders must be certified by DCAMM in the category of Plumbing & must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility & signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.  General Bids due: 12:00 PM noon, 4/10/2024, & publicly opened online.
