The New Bedford Housing Authority (NBHA) is seeking proposals from qualified developers for the development of at least 32 units of affordable rental housing on 0.756 acres of a parcel of NBHA owned land. The NBHA intends to enter into a Land Disposition Agreement with and convey the 0.756-acre portion of the property with a 99-year ground lease to the selected developer, with deed restrictions. The RFP aim is to select a developer with demonstrated experience and capacity to deliver a project that meets the needs and goals of the community as described in this RFP. The most advantageous proposal, from a responsive and responsible proposer, taking into consideration all evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP, will be selected.
Proposals are due November 18, 2021, at 2:00PM.
There will a Bidders Conference on site at 10:00AM on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Use 27 Tabitha Lane, New Bedford for GPS purposes.
